Banjo's, a staple of South Topeka-Pauline dining since the mid-1980s, offers a casual breakfast and lunch menu that features homemade meals, including the popular biscuits and sausage gravy. The diner serves breakfast all day. Under the same ownership since 2001, Banjo's continues to feature many of the original wait staff, keeping a high rapport with the people of Pauline.

FEEDBACK

watch your tickets for padding of unordered charges

Just noticed TWO 'extras' charges on our ticket after paying it. With only two customers on the bill and only waters ordered
there should not be any reason for there to be a charge for one coffee and no one ordered gravy yet there was an extra charge
for that. The place was not packed so it can't be blamed on being flustered so the only thing left is someone was padding the bill.
Makes you wonder how often it happens there. Not a good way to do business.

I love their homemade cinnamon rolls. (Just wish they made them fresh every day. The cooks actually can cook an over medium egg - over medium, every time. Friendly wait staff and the place is bright and clean.
Pauline would be a lost town without Banjos.

We love this place. Great comfort food, friendly servers, reasonable prices. Whenever we visit Topeka, we eat at Banjos. We get there early though because they close at 2pm.

The food is good here for being mostly prefab food. Some days it takes almost an hour to get your food. When they expanded years ago they didnt expanded the kitchen to accomidate the larger building

The wife and I drive out here and really enjoy the food. She always likes to get breakfast. And I can still get my lunch. Great burger and fries. Definitely recommend and will continue to eat there.
