Arrived at 3:30 and the door was unlocked but dark inside. An employee announced "we closed early today" even though the close time is 4 pm.

This isn't the way to run a business. I foresee this joint closing it's doors. How can you expect to stay in business when you close early just because? Customers will get tired of this.

Maybe Brad is getting tired of working, who knows.

NEW HOURS

They have new closing hours as of a week or so ago.

No longer open until 8 pm but close Tues-Thu at 3 pm and Fri-Sat at 4 pm.

They say there isn't enough business during evening time. However, I've been there 4:30-5:30 on Fri and Sat and there have been standing room only.

Guess Brad has to decide what is important.

THE PIE! Amazing pies, cherry and coconut cream, have proven time and again to be amazing. Such flaky crusts and intense flavors I find it difficult to decide what to choose, they have so many flavors. The burgers and fries are very good and the choice of comfort foods always has something to please me.

Im with KEITHMILES05. Unfortunately she is still there on Mon ans Wed mornings. The last thing I want to here at 6:05 AM is her Loud mouth while trying to enjoy my breakfast. Her opinion means nothing and I agree she needs to STFU. Give all of us in the early morning a break would ya?!?!

After being here only once and not being impressed, the latest health inspection results were rather extensive too look over. The list of citations were to long to mention here but if you care about health and safety then I suggest you look into these problems before dining here. I really do with local and chain businesses the best of luck and am not a harsh critic but I just can't tolerate the carelessness that came with this inspection report.

I went there early Monday and had a great omelet. Was made perfect and tasted great. You could tell the biscuits were homemeade and were great. Better than the other places I have been around town. It was a lot of food and I couldn't finish it all. I cant wait to go back and try pie.

Burger And Fries

I was just there on Friday Dec. 7th for Lunch, I had a cheeseburger and Fries, the buns ARE NOT homemade, it was the worst burger and fries I have ever had, dried up and the fries were like they were cooked yesterday. Will go back there for something else but will skip the burger and fries.

Agree that something has changed at Bradley's. Ate there last in October and was really disappointed.

The burger had no taste and the bun was dry and hard. I ordered onion rings which were limp and greasy and had a bunch of burned french fry pieces mixed in with them. Not appetizing.

The place was dirty and the waitresses loud. Haven't been back.

THINGS ARE DECLINING

Shocking how the quality of the food has declined in two months. I am a regular and have noticed the past several months the food isn't near what it used to be. Everything is barely lukewarm, looks old, and tastes very unseasoned.

Not only that but the physical appearance of the restaurant has deterioated with garbage on the floor and some of the lights not working make it dim.

Brad needs to take notice but I have a feeling he doesn't care. It's the only main eatery in north Topeka and he thinks he has a cash cow.

Loud mouthed waitress

This lady really gets on my nerves and talks loud all the time and doesn't know when to shut up. She is there early in the mornings and talks non-stop and loud. What an embarassment! She is all about herself and her stupid life and kids and whatever else she does. We as customers do NOT want to hear your lifes story, ok?

Brad, you need to tell her to STFU and stop driving customers away. I will walk out when I see her next time.

AWESOME!!!

This is a working man's restaurant with classic American menu and I love it! No frills, but the menu has all the comfort food you could ever want with more options for white gravy than I have ever seen. Have been there 3 times in the last month, taking friends for the amazing pie. Hamburgers are juicy and good sized with a mound of fries. Chicken fried steak was close to what we get out west and enough gravy to make you smile all afternoon.

They are right on the pies, call ahead 24hrs to get one or you will be walking away empty handed. They keep their full list available to dine-in customers that way. 24 pies last time I was in there on the chalk board.

A restaurant is not a bakery. If you want a whole pie from one you have to call ahead.

Better call 24 hrs in advance or leave empty handed.

Best greasy spoon in NE Kansas

And I mean "greasy spoon" in a positive way. I love places like this, and for my money, this one's the best around. Maybe the menu is predictable, but when I eat at a small diner, I'm not looking for excitement. I want good food for a good price, and I get that at Bradley's. I've never had a bad meal, and their cinnamon rolls and pies are absolutely killer. This

Better luck next time

I went to Brad's around 1 PM last Thursday to try them for the first time. My waitress stopped to talk so often that she didn't spend much time taking care of business. It took 45 minutes to get a chicken club sandwich and it was soggy when it arrived. The lettuce on the plate was dripping wet and made a mess of the sandwich. I couldn't even pick it up. When I finally got the attention of my waitress again I asked for extra napkins.... and that even took 10 minutes. I'll try Brad's again but not for a sandwich, and I hope I get a different waitress next time.

One of the best cooks in Topeka serves classic American dishes that grandma used to make for Christmas. This kitchen cooks the best ham, soups, burgers, steaks, noodles and meatloaf. There is an excellent breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls. Meals served with generous portions -- big slices of bacon or delicious sausage with your eggs and hashbrowns. Bradley's Corner Cafe is becoming a major destination place for anyone looking for authentic American diner food, served by great wait staff, who handle the place when it's crowded. Buy a pie. These are among the best pies in Northeast Kansas.

Great food, and the pie is amazing. I had gooseberry, which is not always that easy to find. Definitely worth a visit.

Don't let the neighborhood scare you away. Brads is worth it! It can be hard to find a table during the busy times, but I've never had to wait too long for a place to sit. They always have some sort of special and the regular menu items are great, too. Chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak... Even the spaghetti and meatballs is great! And definitely save room for pie or a cinnamon roll!

The owner has been in the restaurant business in Topeka his whole life. His pies are better than grandma's. No kidding! I have stopped for pie instead of a meal. If I eat there, I ALWAYS get a piece of pie to go. If you don't, you'll be longing for it later.

Go for the pie!

The menu is fairly predictable (burgers/sandwiches/entrees) but the pie...oh wow! The piecrust has incredible flakiness and the variety of fillings is equally impressive. My husband and I will often skip part of our meal just to make sure that we have room for a slice of pie.
If you are a cinnamon roll fan, give their's a try!
