Buzzard’s Pizza flew into Topeka in February 2009 with a new shop featuring a drive-through window and a long list of toppings that create a dizzying amount of pizza possibilities – all on hand-tossed crusts. This family chain – with shops in Holton, Lyndon and Pomona – offers usual toppings like buffalo meat, barbecue beef and shrimp. Plus, it offers salads, subs, buffalo wings, sandwiches and domestic beers. (Updated 4.12.10)

But very funny that those 3 toppings be listed as the "usual" toppings...
We get our buffalo from Tallgrass Bison outside Auburn, KS. It is grass fed and they also sell at the local farmers market. My mother has been using their product for years in the other Buzzard's shops.
People seeking lean and healthy alternatives without giving up on pizza altogether LOVE the buffalo supreme that has ground bison, with diced green peppers, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. You should stop in and try one of the "usual"!!!

"This family chain – with shops in Holton, Lyndon and Pomona – offers usual toppings like buffalo meat, barbecue beef and shrimp." I'd like to think that buffalo meat is UNusual.
WOW!

Just had a chance to visit Buzzard's Pizza and wasn't expecting much for my $10 coupon. It said any large pizza...well let me tell you...this pizza was well worth my $10 which was the special offer price. I'd say it would be worth $20!
Normally my wife and I can devour a whole large pizza...but not at Buzzards. And its not because the pizza is not delicious. Because I'd venture to say its the BEST we have ever had! And two slices a piece filled us to the brim. We ordered half Roadkill (BBQ Beef, Chicken, and Bacon) and half Supreme! Each was amazing!
I'd would strongly suggest traveling off the beaten path to North Hwy 75 and 46th Street to a little pizza heaven!
We will be regulars! And Buzzard's has our vote for Best of Topeka.

Typical from a response on you,you bash almost every pizza restaurant.
Plain and simple,the pizza is good and Buzzard's is not claiming to be anything other than what they are,small town midwest pizza that is good.
not pizza

sorry folks, this only resembles pizza in looks. the overall texture is not bad but the pie has NO, NONE, ZERO flavor. No sense of traditional pizza flavors like oregano, basil, or garlic. even the sausage lacks any distictive flavor.
i am not a happy pie eater and won't be back again.

If you like a pizza with far to many topings and way to much cheese than you will love there pizza. The sauce is a bit on the bland side of things also.
Many thanks!

Thanks to all of Topeka and surrounding areas for supporting our new location. Since our opening Feb 18th 2009, the Buzzard's family has expanded and opened in Osage City and Wellsville...to join the locations in Lyndon, Holton, Pomona, and Topeka "Hunters Ridge"!!!
A WEBSITE IS IN THE WORKS for our Topeka location, it will contain full menu so you can create your own masterpiece or choose from our popular specialty pizza, it should be available by this Saturday. I will keep updating info for you.
And our waitresses are Danielle, Jordan, and Katie they all are trained to be helpful and friendly so don't let being a first time visitor to our store keep you away. Ask for Samantha or Jessica next time your in and tell us you saw us on "food and flicks"
How about a menu?

I know its Topeka, and they are scary, but computers do exist here. Put up a website with a menu, PLEASE. If you have 975 toppings, a website would really help. That's pretty much the only reason I haven't been here yet. I don't feel like standing and staring at a giant menu board for 20 minutes while "Brittini" stares at me impatiently. If you want me to build you a website, e-Mail me and I'll do it for free. Jeez.

Pizza (pronounced /ˈpiːtsə/ ( listen) or /ˈpiːdzə/; Italian: [ˈpit.tsa]) is a world-popular dish of Neapolitan origin, made with an oven-baked, flat, generally round bread that is often covered with tomatoes or a tomato-based sauce and cheese. Other toppings are added according to region, culture, or personal preference.
Originating in Neapolitan cuisine, the dish has become popular in many different parts of the world. A shop or restaurant that primarily makes and sells pizzas is called a "pizzeria". The phrases "pizza parlor", "pizza place" and "pizza shop" are used in the United States. The term pizza pie is dialectal, and pie is used for simplicity in some contexts, such as among pizzeria staff.
I have also remembered that thing that when i had done travel deals, I ordered a pizza from this hut;
regards;

Pizza was good, staff was working hard, but man is the place noisy and loud. Finished cement floor, bare walls, barely a soft surface in the place.

Yup, it's almost as good as it's older sibling in Lyndon. Pizza with lots of cheese and other toppings. Can't beat it. Hands down the best pizza in Topeka.
Very good food

The supreme pizza was verry good! One slice filled me up to the max.
I would have to say though the service could have been better. I ordered a small pizza to share for two and got charged for a large pizza instead.
I got billed for the large pizza and on top of that 3 drinks instead of two. I know it was an honest mistake, but when it came to get the bill the second time around they only deducted the drink.
The atmosphere was o.k. I know they just opened and I'm sure that they have a little bit more decorating to do.
All in all the pizza is verrry yummy and I would recommend it over Via's or any other local establishment.
IF it's half as good as the one in Lyndon

Then it's the best pizza in Topeka, by far. A friend of mine went and said it's every bit as good as the Lyndon location.
Give it try, you won't want to go anyplace else.
