A few of us went here for lunch since it is close to work and were very happy with the food, service, and atmosphere. Started off with guacamole, which was a huge portion and the best seasoned homemade chips I have ever had. Enchiladas are what they are famous for and there is a reason why. Nachos were enormous and couldn't finish them if I tried. Prices were fair, but not super cheap. Food comes fast and drinks refilled often.

The food is excellent!!

This is some of the best home style Mexican food I've ever had. Very large portions, expertly seasoned and well presented. I could hardly believe the size of the pan fried chicken tacos and the rice was really good. My companion had the chicken quesadilla which was equally good. The home made chips were excellent with the refried beans. Great eats at an average price. Don't expect great service when one person runs the whole show, but she's pretty good at it. Give this place three snaps up!

This place is the real deal

I have been eating here for over 10 years. I have had them cater at work and received great compliments from my co-workers. The strong points are the Mexican food, soup & salad, blueberry pancakes and the desserts. The best chicken tacos I have ever had. All of the Mexican food here is great! I enjoy the many varieties of soup during the winter months. The best blueberry pancakes I have ever had. A real nice atmosphere. Owned & operated by a hard working family. For something different you should give it a try.

The enchiladas here are one of my favorite dishes in town ... home-made, old-fashioned, with real vegetables. I drive out of my way to have lunch here. Can't speak to the ham sandwich, but I cannot imagine why you would get one when there are such good, genuine Mexican dishes to be had!

If you like a quiet, non-chain, quaint kind of place (and aren't in a huge hurry), you should try the Holliday.

It a nice place to eat. It is quiet and unassuming. The Mexican food is great, but sometimes the sandwiches are a little lacking in flavor other than the lettuce, tomato, etc, on the top.
