PT's also serves hot and cold sandwiches, fresh muffins, and scones. And, for the hard-core coffee lover, PT's has a Clover machine, a one-cup brewing system.
In 2014, the original PT's location underwent a name change, being re-branded as Cara's Cup, in honor of Cara Kroll, a former manager who passed away in 2012. The shop is under different ownership.

Chick-A-Dee has been an East Topeka favorite since 1948, featuring casual dining and fresh, home-cooked meals. It is frequented by local folks who enjoy the regular crowd and good food. Because the owners expect an older crowd, they keep the menu and prices as stable as possible. Everything on the menu is made from scratch with an effort made to get fresh vegetables in a well-balanced meal no matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner.
