Coyote Canyon

Saturday is barbecue night, and the Sunday "Family Dinner Table" menu caters to the family feast people have come to expect for a Midwestern Sunday meal. Don't miss the breakfast buffet from 8-11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Jayhawk Corner Cafe & Jayhawk Java

Scott Nickel, who has operated the Brickyard Barn Inn on N.W. 25th with his wife, Truanna, for the past 11 years, has extended his cooking reach to the Jayhawk Tower office complex at 7th and Jackson.

The Jayhawk Corner Cafe, located in the lobby of the former Jayhawk Hotel, offers an all-inclusive lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and eventually will have breakfast, too. The food includes American, Italian, Mexican and Southwestern favorites on a rotating basis.

The Jayhawk Java coffee shop in the northeast corner of the lobby serves your favorite coffee drinks and pastry items from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Updated 11.24.09)



Wrap City Grill

735 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka

For the downtown office worker, Wrap City Grill has been a place to grab a good, quick meal for lunch since August 2006.

Besides a delicious lunch, Wrap City Grill also serves breakfast beginning at 6:30 a.m. for workers on the go. Steaming coffee and breakfast wraps greet the morning crowd in downtown Topeka.

There is seating for about 40 inside, but most of Wrap City's business is walk-up. Try a delicious burrito-style wrap either off of their menu or create your own. Their pineapple salsa is the perfect touch on most wraps. (Updated 2/20/09)
