This was opened by unhappy waitstaff from El Mezcal, menu is exactly alike. Food, not as good though. Zero atmosphere and servers are more interested in chatting up each other and caring for their children they brought to work. Food prices are higher than El Mezcal.
Soo good.

I had bought a $12 deal for $6 on Deal Garden.com without really knowing anything about this restaurant.... Let me just say I am super pleased with my purchase and regretting not purchasing more. I consider myself somewhat of a mexican food connoisseur as it is one of my favorites... anyway.. I generally judge Mexican restaurants based on a couple of things... the first being their SALSA!! and OH my theirs was delish! Couldn't stop eating it! I ordered off the lunch menu the special #1 which consisted of a chili relleno and a taco with some beans, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. Not only was it all yummy yummy yummy but I had to take a box with me because it was sooo much food... My lunch companion who also had never been there, ordered 3 tamales. They were MONSTER sized and she says they were fantastic as well. (Mind you she could only eat one and had to box up the rest as well..) with all that being said.. we had an excellent experience and definately will return!

We were eating here very regularly but stopped going because the last two times we went the staff had their kids just running up and down the aisles running into our table and being very loud. Not a good experience and haven't been back.
Same as El Mezcal

If you like Mezcal, you'll feel at home here. Same menu, same food, even some of the staff used to work at Mezcal. Not as busy as Mezcal, so a good alternative for dinner, when you don't want the loud crowd on margarita nights at Mezcal. Speaking of margaritas...El Charro has .99 cent ones twice as often!
Great Value

Recently started going here with the wife. The food is really good and prices are reasonable. They are always busy. They tend to be a little slow on service sometimes. But, I think it is because they stay so busy. Nice atmosphere. NON-SMOKING!!!
Utterly Marvalous!!

My wife and I love eating at El Charro's! We try to eat there, at least, once a week. The food is fantastic and the service there is wonderful!
I always used to get my pizza hut pizza in the building where El Charro's is located. When Pizza Hut closed that location, I wondered what else could go into a building of that design.
On day while trying to locate a shop that repaired big screen TV's, my wife and I decided to try the new restaurant that just opened up in the old pizza hut spot.
Upon entering, we were warmly greeting by an employee and seated quickly. The menu showed us a huge selection of appetizers and entree's. When the food arrived, it looked, tasted and smelled wonderful!
We had a splendid time eating and when the bill came, I was shocked to see how little it cost! Since that time, we try to eat there at least once a week. Usually, we order carry out since the place is packed at the time we eat. The carry out orders are filled quickly and, save for one time, accurately prepared.
For those looking for a new Mexican place, give this one a try, you will never eat any where else again.

This place is very delicious! This is where my family comes once a week for lunch. Great location, great food, great prices! The service is excellent, and food is good. Prices are great! I like getting their taco salad. It comes in a fried tortilla bowl with chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream...only 5.00! Their quesadilla fajitas are delicious as well. My husband gets their huevos rancheros or their huge burrito smothered in white cheese.
