The food was great when I visited the other day but the service was unacceptable. I realize they were overly busy but having no clean silverwear was not expected. Besides that, they just needed more employees working that night to help with seating people, filling drinks, and running the cash register. I saw several people angry about this because they couldn't find an employee to help out. Other than that, (and hopefully that was just because of the Cinco de Mayo rush), the food was great.
Love it!

Since they have opened their doors this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I love that their food actually has flavor, a lot of other Mexican restaurants in town do not. And I do have my favorite waiter. They also have Banana Margaritas which cost a little more than the regular margaritas. But, they are worth it.
No thank you.

I have an idea, lets change the name but serve the same dishes as all of the other Mexican restaurants in town! Maybe Jose Peppers will bring some originality when they open?
Decent

Ate her Friday night. While the food is decent and has more plavor than El Mexcal, it is almost a clone, done to the decor and menu.
Owner must not know what TexMex is, as that is what most of the food here is despite his comments in the recent newspaper article.
