Millennium Café opened in 2001 with the opening of the new Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, designed by internationally-known architect Michael Graves. The cafe offers library workers and visitors a quick, casual and usually quiet place to sit and enjoy a bite to eat or relax with a cup of coffee. It caters inside the library, and links from the library's Web site at will bring you more information about the cafe, including the week's menu. The menu includes some made-from-scratch soups, salads, sandwiches, quiche and seasonal features. The cafe opens at 8:15 a.m. weekdays. (Updated 7.26.10)
