Weller’s Grill & Bar

Built as North Topeka’s only sports grill and bar, Weller’s TV sets offer 416 inches of viewing area. Owners, Jason Jennings and Richard Jennings have designed the place so there is “no bad seat in the house.”

Weller’s offers 10 beer selections on tap including micro-brews and a menu that includes steak, seafood, pasta, burgers and appetizers. Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.

For the hungry customer who is in a hurry, Wendy's offers casual dining inside and a drive-through lane outside. The Wendy's chain started when Dave Thomas opened the first restaurant in 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. The restaurant now offers all the fast-food staples with a variety of sides, including fries, mandarin oranges, baked potatoes and chili. For dessert, try a vanilla or chocolate Frosty.
