American Legion Post #1 Capitol 1 Restaurant

Capitol 1 Restaurant at Topeka's American Legion Post #1 is open to members (with ID card) on Friday evenings with a limited menu. The restaurant requires reservations 2 days in advance, but walk-in customers are welcome for sandwiches, which include hamburgers, ruebens, chicken strips and clubs. Specials change each Friday and include homemade mashed or baked potato, soup or salad and a roll. The Blind Tiger opened in 1995 offering casual dining, "good food, friendly people and great beer." Located in the former Bennigan's restaurant building, the Boulevard Grill opened Dec. 1, 2008.

Featuring traditional menu options such as Boulevard Buffalo Wings, Chicken Fried Steak and a Classic Cheeseburger, you'll also find eclectic selections including Fried Green Beans, Sirloin Steak Montreal Style and the Boulevard Aloha Burger with pineapple and swiss cheese.
