Paisano's offers southern Italian cuisine, which means its selections are built around homemade sauces often featuring seafood and are served in large portion sizes. The entrees are so good you must be careful that you don't fill up on the bottomless fresh salad, bread and made-from-scratch soups.
Paisano's also has an early bird special Monday through Friday. Entrees are half-price with the purchase of a drink for everyone who is seated by 11:30 a.m.
They make anything Bambino size on request, for the little ones.
Delivery is limited to larger orders, with a minimum $75 purchase. (Updated 3/20/09)

Guess I'll give up on going to Paisano's on Sunday nights. We stopped in at 7pm last Sunday and after waiting for about 5 minutes for a hostess were told there would be A 15 minute wait even though the restaurant was less than half full and the host was less than apologetic....I'll take my money elsewhere.

I have to give kudos to this place. I called and asked for a special booth for me and my fiance. I told the server we were getting married soon. We went back to celebrate our marriage in December and the staff remembered us. The service is always great and the food excellent. Thanks for making a special night even better. My wife and I love to eat here.

Paisano's has long been a favorite of ours. The food and service are consistently excellent as well as the atmosphere. They have a very good wine selection, and the wait staff is always pleasant. We always try to support the local restaurants rather than franchises, and Paisano's makes that easy.

It's sad that this is really the only locally-owned Italian place left. The food is great and even when you have to wait, there is a nice bar to sit at and have drinks. And, of course, Francis Albert is always playing overhead.

By far, best in Topeka. Food is always so so good and I love the atmosphere. I've tried many different menu items, and have loved each one.

This place should make Best of Topeka every year in lots of categories. They have Sinatra playing in the background. Tons of great wine choices, and when the weather is nice, you can dine in the fresh air.

You can't find better atmosphere for lunch in Topeka -- especially for the price. The early bird special is the best deal in town. The cook will even make off-the-menu items to order if you ask. It's also the best Italian food around.

The Paisano's that used to be downtown was the BEST, but this is a close second and perhaps that best restaurant in town. Great service combined with great food make this a Topeka treasure. Don't miss the early bird special between 11-11:30 a.m. during the week.
