The place needs an update to remove an excess of beer graffiti posters and a more visible SPECIALS Board is needed cause
the current one gets lost in the blend of graffiti beer.

Reeds is a consistent place when it comes to drinks and food at reasonable prices. You can be assured that if you liked something once, you will like it the second time as well. When it comes to clientele, yes it does need to be cleaned up a bit but you really cannot beat it on a Sunday afternoon or for an early evening drink and meal. The staff is nice and fairly attentive (at times it has been a problem that the waitresses have been playing on their phones at the bar instead of checking their tables). On average I would say over the last year we have been there at least 40 times so give it a try! One way to clean it up is to make it so busy that the rif raf cannot fit in the door!

Great place until 10:00 PM

My family has enjoyed this establishment since it opened. The service is usually good, especially if you get one of the servers that has been there a while. The food is good bar food and very consistent. The beer is cold and the mixed drinks are done well. When I see an owner in there they seem like they care about what is going on.

Until 10:00 PM, the place is full of neighbor regulars and everything is great. I was in there on Friday and around 10:00 the clientele changed. It does not change for the better. My wife did not feel safe and we left by 11:00. The next night, someone in the bar was shot from a bullet that came from the parking lot. Once again, this happened after 11:00.

It is a shame, because we use to enjoy a late evening at Reeds from time to time. We will not be there after 10:00 anymore. I don't know how they can fix this, but I wish them the best.

Thanks for everybody who have came out and tried Reeds Lakeside. We really appreciate you business. I hope we can continue to serve you and if you ever have any problems PLEASE let a bartend or waitress know so we can address the issue. If somehow you are not satisfied please get the bartender to have my brother or I contact you.

These posts are from when it was McBs. There is no smoking in Kansas anymore, as far as the mouse my brother and I did not own McBs only Reeds Lakeside as of Aug 2010. So Mouse on the floor please come back, we are friendly our food is much better and we are way cleaner than McBs ever thought about being. My Grandfather started the Pad Carry out 60 years ago and my family has been serving the public great food every since then. I am sorry if you did not like McBs but Reeds is a whole new ball game.
