The place is owned by former professional boxing brothers Derrick and Damon Reed, who make sure there's a great view of televised games and bouts just about anywhere inside Reed's. McBee's was a good place to eat and have a few drinks; however, since Reed's have operated this establishment, the place is really smokey and a new class of individuals have been attracted to the establishment. Namely, there are now people who are looking to fight coming here, so if you enjoy a no-drama evening, this is not your place. There is no security, so when some moron does try to start a fight, the entire bar will turn into a melee and there is no one to break it up.

The food is decent to bad. The smoke in the air saturates your food and so you end up with a cigarette smoke staleness in your food.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to eat here.

When this place opened as McB's the stafff wore Polos's and it seemed professional. Now the service stands at the bar and smokes and dont be surprised to get up and ask for a refill. The food is average but what keeps 90% of the people out is everything in that place is saturated with smoke. They really need to close for a week, cleand the furnishings and the staff and re-open as a smoke free bar that wants your business!
