Texas Roadhouse has featured great service and great food in an atmosphere that is both lively and casual since its opening in 2004. Don't miss the hand-cut steaks, tender rib meat that falls off the bone, made-from-scratch sides and fresh-baked bread. While you wait, munch on peanuts and toss the shells on the floor. Went there for the first time a couple of nights ago and was greatly impressed. The service was very attentive without being smothering. The food was delicious. Will be anxious to go back again.

We've been going here for years but tonight is the last time. We ordered 3 steaks and shrimp meal. All 3 steaks had to go back since the 2 medium-rare were crunchy and the medium-well had to be recooked since it was rare. The shrimp must have been old cause it was tough and chewy and flavorless.
Something isn't right at this place and we won't return.

Always great!

There is an excellent 6 oz sirloin that if you eat before 6pm has an even more excellent price.

Food is good, service is good. The one down side to me is the darn rolls are too good and I want to eat more of them then i should.

For a restraunt chain, I will have to admit that Texas Roadhouse is one of the best. I love the rolls with honey-butter, ceasar salad, beef tips, and the baked sweet potato with butter and brown sugar. Fabulous! My husband enjoys the filet medalians very much. Very good!

I love the food here. I do have to say the best part is the rolls you get before your food comes. They are melt in your mouth good. I have always had good food and friendly service here. This is where I usually take my family when they come to town and we always walk away happy and full!

My wife and I ate NYE at Topeka Steakhouse, and were displeased with the food. To make it up to her, I took her to Texas Roadhouse. it was our first time to eat there, and I have to say I wasn't expecting a lot. I would have to say the prime rib was one of the best I have ever eaten. My wife was equally impressed.
Good Food. Awesome Service and a fun atmosphere.

Not the best.

Not the best steakhouse, but the most value-priced. You do get what you pay for here and that is fine for casual meal.

Topeka you are pathetic. You have the Topeka Capitol Journal ranking texas roadhouse and Golden Corral as the best steakhouses. GOOD GOD! You have North Star and Topeka Steakhouse. Tell the people at the Journal to wake up and recognize small town businesses for their quality food. The paper is just helping their friends and advertisers. Take pride in what you have and tell the journal to start reporting on facts and not advertising.

Texas Roadhouse is a great place for good food at a good price. This is your typical burger and steak restaurant, featuring chicken, steak, burgers, and a host of sides from rice to potatoes to veggies. The cinnamon butter comes complimentary as do the rolls, and feel free to toss your peanut shells on the floor after helping yourself to the big bucket on your table. Prices and specials are great, taste is right up there, you certainly will not be disappointed.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere and reasonably priced. You can't beat it. Obviously, the steak is great, but I also like the sweet potato and chicken fried steak.

This is the best!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat. I choose this over any place in Topeka. I love the steaks, the baked potato, the bread with the cinn. butter, and the onion ring. I admit the place is a bit loud and can get a crowd, but I love this place.
