Founded in 1905, the Topeka Country Club offers a mouth-watering menu – the perfect accompaniment to a round of 18 holes on the private club’s golf course, a swim in the Olympic-size pool or a match of tennis on one of four outdoor or three indoor courts.
The main grill room is open for lunch and dinner and features member favorites like steak and honey-pecan chicken. An on-site baker keeps the club supplied with delectable desserts. Thursday is family-style chicken night, and kids night falls on Wednesday – both popular evenings when members should consider reserving a spot in advance.
The Topeka Country Club also offers a variety of six private banquet rooms, often used for corporate events or wedding receptions. They range in size from a cozy space for a dozen people to the newly renovated room with enough space for 250. The three main banquet rooms feature views of the golf course. Non-members can use the banquet rooms if a member sponsors them.
Lunch is served 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner is served 5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5:30 -10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sunday brunch is offered 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and the grill closes at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
